"In 2024, the Weld County Sheriff's Office began working with Charlie for remote co-responder services.  Deputies called him a grand total of six times, which was not the impact the Sheriff's Office was looking for.  In 2025, I instituted a process with our Communications Center that involved the dispatcher calling Frontera directly when a deputy requested a co-responder.  This was an amazing success, and we imposed on Charlie and his team at total of 109 times this past year; while the Greeley Police Department co-responders help when the call is close to town, Frontera handled the bulk of our calls for a co-responder.  Frontera has been an amazing help, and many times has cleared the deputies from the call before they even arrived on scene, freeing up our resources and minimizing the impact of having law enforcement officers involved in a situation that has no criminal nexus.  I built funding into our 2026 budget to ensure the we can continue this great partnership throughout the coming year and, hopefully, well into the future."
